2022 The Elf on a Shelf 1/2oz Silver Proof Coloured Coin
The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2005 children’s picture book with rhyming text written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell, with illustrations by Coë Steinwart.
The story follows Santa’s Scout Elves, who visit families around the world and report to Santa each night during the holidays. Each morning the Scout Elf lands in a new spot in the home, creating a delightful game of Christmas hide-and-seek.
The story has sparked an enduring holiday tradition, inspiring clever elf scenes and antics for children to discover throughout each Christmas season.
